What is the $295 Electrical Service Appointment?
It's how we handle anything electrical that isn't working. For $295, a Smiley Electric technician comes to your home, talks with you about the problem, inspects and troubleshoots the electrical system, and determines what is needed to correct it. Then we explain what we found and give you an upfront price before additional repair work begins. If you approve the repair, we can often get started during the same appointment. The $295 covers dispatching a licensed electrician to your home and the first hour of on-site labor, including evaluation and troubleshooting. Materials are not included.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Portland metro, including Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Milwaukie, and Lake Oswego. If you're nearby and not sure, give us a call and we'll let you know.
What are your hours, and can you come out same day?
We're available Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Same-day quotes are often possible depending on the schedule, so call early and we'll do our best to get you on the calendar.
Are you licensed and do you pull permits?
Yes. Smiley Electric is a licensed Oregon electrical contractor (CCB #227116), and we pull the required permits on work that needs them. Permitted work protects you at resale and keeps your home insurable.
Can I get a price without a visit?
For planned projects, often yes. Call or text a photo and we'll give you a free ballpark range for planning. For a firm number on a panel replacement, EV charger, remodel, or rewire, we schedule a project consultation and give you a written estimate. If something is broken rather than planned, book an Electrical Service Appointment instead.
